Save File Transfer

Afraid of losing your place as soon as I come out with a new beta? Well, I have found a way to transfer your save file from the old Beta to the new! I haven't tried it, so it is up to you to try it, but since the games are made from the same program, and all the data from the older betas is in the new betas, it should work! Before setting up the game, take out any "Savexx.lsd" files that there may be. For example, if you save in Slot 1, it is called "Save01.lsd". If you don't know how to save, skip to the last paragraph to find out how, and then read the rest.

Take the file and put it in a folder that won't be affected by the new Beta. Upload the new Beta, and then place the file in the same location in the NEW beta as it was in the OLD. This way, your old save file can be read by the new Beta! Do this everytime you get a new version of THE SAME episode! Remember, though, that new betas have new data so if you save to a NEW beta, you can't use that save on an OLDER beta. Example, you can upgrade from 0.2 to 0.3 and keep your save file, but not from 0.3 back down to 0.2, if you have gone farther than 0.2 currently has built. You may wind up either stuck in an incomplete level, or the level mightnot even exist. Only transfer save files FROM OLDER BETAS TO NEWER ONES!

To save, you call on the menu while playing(press Esc), select Save, and press Enter. Then, select the slot you want to save in and press Enter. When done, keep hitting escape until you are back at the playing screen! You can only save while walking around, not while events are occuring.
