This is the History of the Dojo
20 April 1999:
Got back from the next dimension. My 1000th visitor was The Adams Family (which I thought was cool), and I recently found out about the upcoming coinage change. I liked the new designs so well that I put up a link. Oh, and this is no longer Mack Scranton's dojo, and I intend to write him into a nasty situation the next time I put pen to paper. I will not tolerate insubordination.
2 April 1999:
It's the day after April Fool's day, and I this little bunny rabbit fully enjoyed tormenting everyone within a three mile radius with my pranks. I still havn't brought the crow back, and there's not much update for today, just a Tenchi Muyo midi.
21 March 1999:
The Mack is back, crow boy is still somewhere in the next dimension as Vegeta would put it. There is a part of all of us that feels akin to the sea. The sea chanty is a direct result of this and is one of my personal favorite styles of music. Ergo, I have added a sea chanty section to the musical index.
12 March 1999:
Mack Scranton here, with the Crow blasted out of existence for a time, I have taken over. As I assumed my new, albeit temporary, post I took one look around and said to myself, "Not bad, but of course I can do much better." I added several excellent Midis to the Musical Index, and I vastly improved the index itself by streamlining the random Midi script and adding a frame that displays what song is playing. It was very simple, but of course I'm Mack Scranton and such things give my hightened intelligence no trouble. I am dictating this to the Mutt Al, so any omissions will result in his severe punishment and any typos are his fault. Now go away and use the rest of the site, yer bothering me.
10 March 1999:
Mack Scranton, with the assistance of an ultra powerful Japanese version of a character from another anime, one Vegeta by name, has staged a paramilitery coup of the dojo. It is now under his tyranical control. Payment for Vegeta's assistance was a bag of bloodrubies and the addition of a collection of Dragonball midis to the musical index.
9 March 1999:
I changed the random image map to a java script instead of the off-site one I had been using. It should make things run faster. I also set it up so that a random midi will play on startup.
1 March 1999:
I put up a small tribute to Lionel Hampton today in honor of the inspirition I felt after attending the jazz festival bearing his name. An Anime midi section was also added to the musical index today. This was just a quickie update that was done on a lunch break.
15 Febuary 1999:
I've set up my main image map so that a random character will be shown along with it.
14 Febuary 1999:
Chapter 9 of The Birds is up. I improved the Musical Index. It is now catagorized and has links within it to the various sections. But you could probably tell that when the page loaded up.
13 Febuary 1999:
I added Big Cheese's bio to the character guide for the Birds. Also, I fixed a problem in the Birds. Doctor Kats's name is spelled Kats, not Katz or Catz, and this has been fixed and is now consistent.
10 Febuary 1999:
I added a contact information page today. It includes IRC, ICQ, AOL Instant Messanger, and E-mail information.
09 Febuary 1999:
I added links to the Anime Web Turnpike and the American Chemical Society (Hey, everyone's entitled to SOME non-SPC on their site).
07 Febuary 1999:
I finished "reducing" my site today. I've converted all the wavs into mpeg layer 3 format for small size and quick downloading. I hope it works all right. I also added a favorite song to the musical index, Carmen. The Save SPC page has been changed to a link page, to which I added the links to dejanews: alt.tv.pizzacats that are on the Samurai Saving Time home page.
04 Febuary 1999:
I added a Save SPC page today with links to all the SPC support pages I know of.
03 Febuary 1999:
First, I added another webring since the last update, second, I continued to expand the character guide for THE BALANCE. The fourth new villian was named in Chapter 8, so I added his picture and bio. In addition I finished adding the cats, Good Bird, Carla, Big Al, and the entire royal family (thanks goes to Vi who gave me the Fredia picture I colored in.) I also started adding sounds to any of the bios that I could find or make an applicable one for.
30 January 1999:
I launched version 2 of the dojo today. Most everything is new.
27 January 1999:
All I did today was change the feature song. I'm planning a major site redesign, so there won't be much in the way of additions for a while.
21 January 1999:
I posted chapter 8 of the Birds in Fanfiction Theater today. Also, I have altered bits and pieces of things and rearranged the intropage a bit, but nothing important.
14 January 1999:
I finished moving to edoropolis.org today and did some streamlining of my main page, as well as some other housekeeping.
10 January 1999:
Today I have postponed work on the majority of the site indefinitely. Pretty pathetic when a site is barely a month old when it experiences an all-systems shutdown. I know I'm embarrassed. I just don't have the heart for it right now, sorry. The time frame for this shutdown is however long it take to cope after a significant portion of the joy in one's life is ripped out and beaten soundly with a heavy stick. (I know I shouldn't rant and rave at you, but it's hard not to, sorry) Ironically, though it has rendered me incapapable of yucking it up on the rest of the site, these events have placed me in a near perfect frame of mind to bring forth upcoming events in the fanfic, so at least the site won't be totally dead, once I get the new chapters written that is. Once again, my apologies.
P.S. I took down the christmas decorations and changed the opening song.
17 December 1998:
Today I awarded Princess Vi a special award in recognition of her 10000th hit and her general contribution to the SPC online community. It is posted with the rest of the awards minted by Ninja_Crow studios on the Jerry's main page. I also readied the Dojo for my long absence during Christmas Vacation. I changed the featured song, added the Dojo's banner to applicable pages, and checked the site out for bugs and dead links (there were none :D) then closed shop. There will be no updates until 1999.
15 December 1998:
Added a LOAD of new links to the links page, along with buttons to go with them. This allowed me to change the button art design from the Samurai Sunspot Umbrella, to Princess Vi.
14 December 1998:
Chapter 7 of The Birds is up. I also added another skit to the Hive of Villany Live. My fanfiction character bios have been updated to include events and pictures from the most recent chapters.
7 December 1998:
I put up my fanfic section "Fanfic Theater" today. With it I included the first six chapters of The Birds. I also added the Flying Skull Arts Academy Award (The Jerry), which will be awarded by catagory every so often.
5 December 1998:
Today I put up my SSPCC membership logo and put all my SPC support links on my intropage. I also added another SPC support link, the Pizza Cats Petition, and my specially designed button for it. I also added some links to the link page. In the spirit of the holidays, I started decorating for Christmas.
4 December 1998:
What's new today, let's see, oh yes, everything is new today because I just uploaded everything for the first time.
