EEE - FAQ

What is the EEE?

The EEE (European Episode Exchange) is a site where you and other Samurai Pizza Cat fans can swap episodes for free. The way it works is simple: if you want to publish your details (i.e., episodes you have and format) on-line, then you must register. If you want to look for someone who you want to swap with, use our search feature.

Who can use the EEE?

Anyone living in any country, as long as the episodes they want to trade are in PAL format - we do not accept NTSC traders, you can go to the SPC shop to swap NTSC videos. We remind you that the European versions of SPC ran all 52 episodes, so this may be an invaluable way of obtaining "rare" episodes!

What are PAL and NTSC?

These are two different TV colour systems used in different countries. PAL (Phase Alternation Line) is the system used in Europe, Australasia and some parts of South America. It offers a lower refresh rate (the image is updated only 25 times a second), but is of higher quality. NTSC (National Television System Committee) has a higher refresh rate, but lower quality image. It is used in North America and Japan. PAL and NTSC are not compatible - you need to have a dual-standard video recorder and TV to view the other standard. In France, there is a variation of PAL called PAL SECAM (SEquential Couleur A Memoire). Please note that while PAL and PAL SECAM are compatible, PAL SECAM tapes will appear in black and white on normal PAL video recorders. Please specify if you own PAL SECAM tapes when registering.

Are my details safe?

When you register, we will not ask you any personal details (only Name, Age, Country and E-Mail Address) for search indexing reasons. We will not sell your e-mail address to anyone, nor will we give anyone your e-mail address without your consent. If you are worried about spamming, you can activate a free @teyandee.zzn.com e-mail address while registering. Please remember however, that we will not be responsible for anything that should happen if you give people your e-mail address.

What happens if something goes wrong?

If, for example, the person you swapped with fails to send you your episodes, we will first of all try to find out if there has been a delay in sending the tapes. If they do not reply, we have no other option than to ban them from using our service again and warning other users about them. We do not take any responsibility for any problems that should arise from using this service - you accept all responsibility.
